Today saw the release of Skyrim: Special Edition, and I know I, like many people, can’t wait to revisit this fantastic world. But Skyrim is only one of many games, though it is perhaps the most critically acclaimed. The games also have a rich lore that can be intimidating for people who don’t know what they’re getting into. The first time I ever tried to get into an Elder Scrolls game (Oblivion), I was overwhelmed with the scope. So this guide should help people get an idea of what the franchise is all about.
